Why Dance Basics Boot Camp?

For some time now I have heard so many performing artists complain about going to auditions and not feeling comfortable in their ability to pick up or follow choreography. They have great singing skills, but once they get to the dance audition, they fall short. Some people may just feel rusty and need a safe environment to get their skills back into shape, and so all they need is a tune-up or refresher. But other people may feel that they can’t dance at all, maybe because they can’t get the steps down, they feel uncoordinated or clumsy. If someone thinks this way, they might end up telling themselves that they just can’t dance and give up, even if they are secretly dying inside to express themselves and have fun. 

I personally feel that everyone can dance, and can have fun doing it! 

So, I decided to design a Dance Basics Boot Camp to handle all these concerns with the intention and product that within 4 weeks people will come out feeling competent and self confident in their ability to dance and loving it! It’s a 4 week challenge to break through to the other side!

  • LEARNING DANCE BASICS 

  • MASTERING GOOD FORM.

  • UNDERSTANDING CHOREOGRAPHY.

  • BREAKING DOWN AND PICKING UP CHOREOGRAPHY FAST.

THIS INTENSIVE WILL GREATLY INCREASE YOUR CONFIDENCE AND COMPETENCE WITH DANCE AND MOVING YOUR BODY!


There are four different levels to Dance Basics Boot Camp.

Introduction to Dance Basics Boot Camp:

This class is for absolute beginners. It’s an introduction class for anyone who wants to streamline and get total certainty on the basics - how to do them and gain improved form.

Dance Basics Boot Camp I:

For anyone who has prior dance training, this is a slightly faster-paced class than the Intro and is meant to help participants redefine their dance form and technique.

Dance Basics Boot Camp II:

For those who have been through Basics I, this is the natural progression to increase your dance basics form and certainty. Also for anyone who has prior dance training would like a faster-paced class to further train in their form and technique.

Dance Basics Boot Camp III:

This is the Boot Camp for more advanced dancers. Those who are more proficient and comfortable in dance class and who have streamlined the basics and have them solidly will excel at this level. This class concentrates more on choreography and self-expression.
