About Maria Del Bagno
Maria began her teaching career as a teen and has taught for over 20 years. She’s taught at such renowned schools and studios as Moro Landis / Millennium Dance Studio, Dance Arts Academy, FocusFish Performance Fitness Center and Studio A Dance to name just a few.
Maria founded and taught a very successful dance program for the Beverly Hills Playhouse for over four years. She then went on to start her own company DanceCreate.
Her critically acclaimed shows DanceCreate and DanceCreate II perform exclusively to sold out houses. She now has her own company DanceCreate. Maria’s training is extensive. Her disciplines include ballet, modern, lyrics and classical jazz, theater dance, salsa and swing. She’s worked with other master choreographers including Joe Tremaine, Fred Walton and Jamie Rogers.
Maria choreographs music videos, commercials, films, theatre, variety shows and children shows. She’s also created for community outreach programs and has privately coached many celebrities. As a performer, Maria’s resume includes recurring roles on General Hospital, Days of Our Lives and Everybody Hates Chris. In theatre she starred as young Vanessa in Follies under Gene Nelson’s direction and also starred as Sheila in A Chorus Line.
